WHAT WE DO
OUR COMMUNITY

The purpose of the Smoky Mountain Baptist Association is to be a fellowship of churches on mission together.

To embrace a unifying vision to take the gospel of Jesus Christ to all the nations.

Local, automous churches voluntarily work together to support missions and ministries near and far.
-
​We promote harmony, understanding and spiritual power between the churches.
-
To encourage support by every church for the mission causes of the Smoky Mountain Baptist
Association, NC Baptist and the SBC.
-
Provide such programs, projects and organizations as will strengthen the churches and assist them in achieving their goals and objectives.

To discover needs which cannot be met effectively by churches individually and to coordinate the use of resources in meeting these needs together.

To afford and promote a larger fellowship of Christians in the work of Christ.

Jesus calls His followers to be "the light of the world" and the "salt of the earth". ​

The SMBA seeks to represent Christ to a lost and dying world.

So the those who are far from Christ can see His love through outlive for others.

For this reason we partner together with the goal to serve our communities.

On Mission churches work toward a common purpose.

All of us want to see the name of Jesus glorified and the Great Commission fulfilled.

This God-given task is not just a individual responsibility but a corporate mission.
